Barbara Price, PhD, is a founding principal of EditDev, LLC, an editorial service provider for the sciences. Barbara develops ideas and manuscripts for science-themed books for trade and educational markets. Her recent book with biochemist Katherine Reid, titled "Fat, Stressed, and Sick: MSG, Processed Food, and America's Health Crisis," will be available from Rowman and Littlefield September 2023. Barbara offers ghostwriting and authoring collaboration, and also scripts science films and interactive media. Barbara's academic training is uniquely suited to her mission to advance scientific literacy. She has advanced degrees in a multiple of scientific fields, enabling her to understand the nuanced language, perspective, and goals of science. Her experience in educational publishing allows her to translate highly technical information into compelling prose, engaging and informing school, higher ed, and general audiences.
